Rating Scale/Policy

Below is the rating that I will use when reviewing books: 

I absolutely LOVED this book and could not put it down. The writing was compelling and I would recommend this book to anyone and everyone. 

I highly enjoyed this book. It was well-written, but did not contain enough elements to reach 5 stars. 

This was a good book; however, it contained some issues that may relate to style of writing, plot, and characterization. 

 OR

I rarely ever give books this rating as I tend to usually stick to what I like genre wise; however, it is not unheard of. If I give a book a one or two star rating, it is not a book I would recommend anyone to read. These are books with significant issues in plot, characterization, style of writing, and pacing or they are books that I could not even attempt to finish.
